Spare parts for Olympus Stylus 770 SW?
I have the threads on my camera, they deprived the tri-pod mount. I can a replacement part for this cam? I have stripped the threads on my camera that they fix the tri-pod. I can a replacement part for this cam? edit: Thanks for the reply. The thead on cam But these works are made of aluminum can idea. Also, the cam is waterproof so I would prefer to have to send it to replace the part. Maybe I can do it yourself to do, but hear a lot of ppl say its cam leak and mine works amazing and dont want to mess with it.
Simple answer is yes, if you find the part. Olympus not yours. So if you just want the part does not fix the camera to a service center, then I'd suggest buying a used one exchange and the defective part. eBay would be a good choice to find what you need. A word of caution, these little cameras are easily broken if you do not have the right tools to put it to open for the repair. Another option would be to repair the threads to be repaired (I assume they are made of plastic) with a 1 / 4 "20 Screw (standard tripod Thread size) and some epoxy.
