Why is it that when ever you go to a convention for video games, comic books ect There are never any size S/M?

My friends and I have had a lot of problems finding shirts, and other cloths while going to conventions, even costumes are hard to find in any size smaller than an XL. Why is this? The only shirts I’ve been able to find that will fit me always seem to be children size, but then they’re too short. So honestly, why can’t a girl find a woman’s small/medium at a convention. Do the dealers not expect any women to head to conventions? Girls that go to the gym like comic books, video games, and anime just as much as any other girl, so why is it that they don’t carry women’s smaller sizes? I mean comic con has the whole Miss C4 competition, and not many of those winners have been more than a L.
I’ve volunteered at conventions and have had first dibs at the dealer’s tables, there are almost never any smalls.

Vendors have limited space (both transporting and displaying) so they bring what they sell the most of. The vendors that bring the stuff that doesn’t sell very well tend to go out of business. Try asking the vendors if they can ship smaller sizes to you after the con (I have seen some do free shipping since they did not have it with them).

Vendors also know it is easier to gain weight than lose weight and that a TRUE fan would gain the weight needed so they can wear the shirts. Maybe it’s time to stop yakking and start snacking. : )
