Would this be a bad idea for a video game?

I’d like to see an american football game (like Madden or NCAA Football) set during the early times of professional football, like around the 1920′s – 1930′s. When they wore leather helmets with no facemasks and such. It would have all the features of the more popular Madden games, like superstar mode, create-a-team, franchise. The idea came to me when me and a friend were talking about what they’d call the next Madden. (Just ten sounds stupid, and so does oh-ten), so I made a joke, why not make madden ’25. Then we realized it would be a fun idea. Also, a side idea I had, you could make your own character, go online into lobbies with other players of different positions and have each player at one position, forming whole teams (like matchmaking in Halo), and it would require your player to have both an offensive and defensive position.

thats would be an excellant game, its definetly a break from the madden series going on and on and on
